Move-Out Chargebacks indicate that you have been reimbursed for Resident-caused damage discovered at Move-Out.
In certain instances, monies owed for resident-caused damage as determined by our standard inspection following the lease end are deducted from the held security deposit. Should those monies owed exceed the security deposit being held, however, these charges may initially be taken out of your rental income so as to ensure 3rd party service professionals are paid in a timely manner and continue to provide high quality services.
Residents are 100% responsible for resident-caused damage.
Upon collecting these additional fees from residents, you will see a Move-Out Chargeback appearing under the Income section on your monthly statements, indicating that you were reimbursed for Resident-caused damage discovered at Move-Out.
